흥사단 창단 제105주년 기념식 소식

지난 5월 12일 (토) LA와 OC 지부 합동으로 주최한 흥사단 창립 제105 주년 기념식과 청소년 대상 강연회가 대한인국민회 기념관에서 단우 및 보이스카웃, 학부모, 손님들 포함 약 50여명이 참가한 가운데 치루어 졌습니다.
이날 기념식은 민상호 LA 지부장의 사회로 서경원 OC 지부장의 도산 말씀낭독, 장형국 전 위원장의 기념사, 민재훈 영사의 축사, 흥사단 홍보영상 시청, 민진아 학생대표의 5분스피치, 차만재 박사의 청소년 대상 영어 강론 "흥사단의 창립배경과 목적"에 이어 정영조 단우(전 위원장)의 흥사단 미주 위원부 장학기부금(10만불) 전달식 순서로 진행되었습니다.
The presentation was provided especially for the young generation by one of our elder members, Dr. Marn J. Cha, with the title of “The Background of the Establishment of Heungsadahn and Its Purpose
The spirit and purpose of establishment of Heungsadhan by Do San not only represent the heritage of our organization, but it also points to the spirit of the Korean people at a time when such national recourse was needed and demanded as one shining ray of hope for the people, especially the young ones.
We all wish our long held spiritual tradition and heritage can be passed on to the younger generation and that Heungsadahn’s youth academy movement can be shined on again.
